Kara Baar
Property Manager

Kara Baar is a small business owner, investor, systems creator, and property manager. She has managed properties since 2012 and has over 10 years of dental practice management experience, in Michigan and Chicago. She has owned many small businesses, in many different industries, and is an expert at structuring operations and protocols.  Kara has her Bachelor's of Arts from DePaul University.  In her free time she enjoys creating art, craft projects, and furniture restoration.

David Horabik
Designer & Developer

David Horabik is a designer, investor, and licensed architect. He has served as Executive Vice-President of Great White Pine Investments since 2011. David has been managing and investing in real estate for over 10 years. David has his Bachelor's of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and has designed real estate in many industries such as residential, hospitals, restaurants, and retail.

Coleman Baar
President & Broker

Coleman Baar is an entrepreneur, investor, and licensed broker. He has served as President of Great White Pine Investments, an equity investment company, since 2011. He served part time as a Commercial Advisor at Prime Development from 2013-15 and at RE/MAX Commercial Group from 2012-13. Coleman is a CCIM Candidate (Certified Commercial Investment Member).  
He enjoys studying finance, management, education, and technology. He likes coffee, birding, and other outdoor activities.

Raeann Lupo
Residential Advisor

Raeann Lupo is a licensed residential advisor who grew up locally in Grand Rapids. She has been working in real estate for several years and has over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. In her free time Raeann enjoys hiking, camping and spending quality time with her family.

Commercial Advisor

Commercial Advisors are members of our brokerage team. They work with Neighbors commercial clients and investors to help them buy, sell or lease commercial real estate and multi-family apartments. They are also responsible for bringing in new brokerage clients and management clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Salesperson or Associate Broker in the state of Michigan.

• Must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Retail, Office, Industrial, Commercial Leasing, or Investment Real Estate.

• Must be self-motivated, diligent, and honest.

Residential Advisor

Residential Advisors are members of the brokerage team. They help Neighbors clients buy, sell and lease homes.  Further responsibilities may include, helping management team lease apartments and bringing in new brokerage clients and management clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Salesperson or Associate Broker in the state of Michigan.

• Must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in residential real estate brokerage and leasing.

• Must be self-motivated, diligent, and honest.

Maintenance Team

Maintenance Team members are the daily task force of Neighbors Development. They help Neighbors clients with upkeep on their investments. Responsibilities include, helping management team with maintenance requests and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in basic home and commercial repairs.

• Must be self-motivated, diligent, and honest.
